Commercial Interiors Superintendent - New York City will be responsible for the oversight and completion of Commercial Construction projects throughout Manhattan and New York City. A DOB license is preferred but not needed.

They have been an established for for 30+ years focusing on Commercial Build outs, ground up construction and renovations. The client has a fast paced work environment with a very strong work cultural allowing for flexibility and competitive pay.

Description

Commercial Interiors Superintendent - New York City

• Implement and maintain effective management, planning, and cost control systems in cooperation with the project team
• On site project site daily
• Will have Assistant as your direct reports
• Work directly with Project Manager to ensure project is completed on time and under budget
• Review and approve Commercial construction operation plans, change order request and pay apps.
• Provide monthly forecasting for all projects, including internal general conditions costs
• Review contingency plans for potential problems concerning labor activity, fire, storms, etc.
• Track and report on all project costs
• Identify and evaluate risk that may have an impact on the project
• Remain knowledgeable of subcontract agreements, purchase order terms and conditions, and sub consultant agreements
• Provide support and guidance for project personnel
• Establish and maintain communications between team and Subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely flow of information
• Develop and issue monthly status reports to keep management informed on construction progress, direct and indirect construction costs, and other project activities

Profile

• 3-5 years of leading commercial construction projects in Building and Construction industry
• Experience with Commercial and health care
• Experience in Commercial and Office markets
• Experience handling projects 100% independently
• Local to New York, NY and Manhattan, NY
• Must have experience building in New York City
• Degree preferred
• Currently Construction Superintendent - Manhattan, New York
• DOB Licence is preferred but not needed
• $140k-$170k
