My client is a reputable General Contractor based in Washington DC, specializing in a diverse range of projects including schools, parks and recreation facilities, renovations, upgrades, and new construction. Their largest client is DGS. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on delivering high-quality projects, we are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our team.
Description
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination
- Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Assist in resolving any issues or delays that may arise during construction
- Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in construction project management or related role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
Job Offer
- Competitive Salary ($90,000-$100,000), dependent on experience level.
