Key Responsibilities of a Construction Manager | Public Works | San Francisco

• Project Planning & Scheduling: Developing timelines, setting milestones, and coordinating the sequence of construction activities.
• Budget Management: Preparing cost estimates, tracking expenses, and ensuring the project stays within budget.
• Team Coordination: Overseeing contractors, subcontractors, and project staff, ensuring effective communication across all parties.
• Quality Control: Reviewing plans and work to ensure compliance with specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
• Contract Management: Negotiating and managing contracts, handling change orders, and approving payments.
