Construction Project Manager- Columbus Market
Project Manager opportunity with a well-established General Contractor expanding its presence in Central Ohio. This role offers exposure to a variety of projects, strong internal support, and clear opportunities for career growth.

Our client is a well-respected Ohio-based General Contractor with over 80 years of success across the state. As they continue to expand their Columbus operations, they are building out their team to support a growing pipeline of commercial projects.

Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
Reviewing and understanding project plans, specifications, and scopes of work
Supporting subcontractor prequalification and participating in bid processes
Assisting with subcontractor scope development and buyout activities
Managing project documentation including submittals, RFIs, and drawings
Maintaining project information and documentation within Procore
Creating and tracking procurement logs and material timelines
Coordinating permits and ensuring compliance across all trades
Leading or supporting project meetings, including agendas and documentation
Assisting in the development and maintenance of project schedules
Implementing Lean construction practices including look-ahead planning
Managing project closeout, including collection and submission of final documentation
Supporting cost control efforts and reporting project financials
Coordinating with internal teams and field staff to ensure project alignment
Profile
The Project Manager will have:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3-7 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager
Experience on ground-up commercial projects valued at $20M+
OSHA 30 certification
Familiarity with Procore, Viewpoint, or scheduling software
Strong understanding of construction processes and documentation
Experience with higher education projects is a plus
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Job Offer
The Project Manager will be offered:
$100,000 - $120,000 base salary
Bonus typically ranging from $8,000 - $10,000 in year one
