My client is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to lead and execute key projects within the life sciences / medical device manufacturing industry. This role requires expertise in engineering and manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient and high-quality outcomes.

Description

The Project Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and managing engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Conducting technical analysis and providing recommendations to improve operational efficiency and quality.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards throughout project execution.
  • Evaluating and sourcing materials, tools, and equipment for project needs.
  • Preparing detailed project documentation, reports, and progress updates for stakeholders.
  • Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Profile

A successful Project Engineer should have:

  • A degree in mechanical, biomedical or systems engineering.
  • Proven experience in engineering and manufacturing projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • 6-8+ years of experience in medical device manufacturing or product development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.
