Superintendent- Hartford

This is an opportunity to lead field operations on commercial ground-up construction projects ranging from $5M-$50M across the Hartford area. As Superintendent, you'll oversee all site activities from mobilization through punch list, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to spec.

They offer a supportive leadership team, long-term subcontractor relationships, and a steady backlog of negotiated and public work.

Description

• Serve as the on-site leader for all day-to-day construction activities

• Coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, material deliveries, and equipment

• Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards

• Conduct daily meetings and enforce site safety protocols

• Maintain project schedule and communicate progress with the PM

• Conduct inspections and address punch list items

• Interface with owners, architects, and inspectors as needed

• Maintain site documentation including daily logs and safety reports

Profile

• 5-15 years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial projects

• Proven track record running jobs from foundation through closeout

• OSHA 30 certified and experienced in site safety management

• Skilled in managing site logistics, trades coordination, and project sequencing

• Strong communicator, able to lead subcontractors and work collaboratively with PMs and clients

• Able to read and interpret construction documents, schedules, and specs

• Tech-savvy with experience using Procore or similar construction software

• Steady employment history and local to the Hartford area preferred
