My client is seeking a dynamic Commercial Construction Project Manager with a proven track record in managing high end corporate interiors projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional project management abilities, and a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in successfully delivering interior construction projects within the corporate sector.

My client is a full service General Contractor that specializes in high end interior projects within the DC Metro area with a proven track record of relationship driven work. As a dynamic and innovative General Contractor, they are known for delivering exceptional construction solutions in the high-end interiors sector. With a commitment to quality, precision, and client satisfaction, we take pride in transforming spaces into stunning and functional environments.

They offer a family oriented, work hard play hard culture consisting of about 40-50 people. They have been growing YOY and are looking for future leaders! They are still a growing company with a ton of room for growth with no glass ceiling.

Description

    1. Project Leadership:

      • Lead and oversee all phases of corporate interiors construction projects, from pre-construction to project closeout.
      • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project goals, scope, and expectations are well-defined and met.
      • Provide strong leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    2. Project Planning and Execution:

      • Develop comprehensive project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resources allocation, to ensure successful project delivery.
      • Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks or obstacles and implementing proactive solutions to ensure projects remain on track.
    3. Budget and Cost Management:

      • Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
      • Work closely with estimating teams to review project costs, change orders, and value engineering opportunities.
    4. Client Relationship Management:

      • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, addressing concerns, and maintaining open lines of communication.
      • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed their expectations in terms of quality, schedule, and budget.
    5. Quality Assurance and Safety:

      • Implement and enforce strict quality control processes to ensure all work meets industry standards and client specifications.
      • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on-site, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
    6. Team Development:

      • Mentor and guide project teams, fostering their professional growth and development.
      • Encourage continuous learning and best practice sharing to enhance the overall capabilities of the

Profile

Project Manager

  • 2-5+ years experience as a Project Manager
  • Must have experience running work as the lead PM
  • Software: PlanGrid, CMIC, MS Office
  • Experience with high end commercial interiors 10,000sqft - 40,000 sqft / 5M-20M
  • 75% in office 25% on site
  • The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of high-end interior construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Bachelors Degree in construction, architecture, engineering is preferred
  • Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously
  • Desire to grow and learn
