Description

A construction superintendent manages the day-to-day work on a construction site to make sure the project runs smoothly. Their key responsibilities are:

1. Overseeing the project to ensure work is done correctly and follows the plans.
2. Creating and managing schedules, making sure everyone is on time and materials are delivered when needed.
3. Supervising workers and subcontractors, helping them solve problems and stay on track.
4. Ensuring safety by enforcing safety rules and holding meetings to prevent accidents.
5. Checking the quality of the work to ensure it meets the required standards.

Profile

The successful Construction Project Manager will have the following:

• 2+ years of Commercial Construction Experience Commercial project experience
• OSHA-30 Certification preferred
• Strong ability to read drawings and specifications
• Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exhibits strong leadership qualities
• Strong decision making/problem solving skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite in Homestead 5 days a week
