OFAC Sanctions Consultant
The OFAC Sanctions Consultant will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines in the financial services industry. This temporary position based in New York requires expertise in legal matters related to sanctions and compliance.

Description
- Ensure compliance with OFAC sanctions and Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list requirements.
- Conduct detailed reviews and assessments of transactions to identify potential risks.
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements to internal teams.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance departments to address any identified issues.
- Prepare and deliver reports on compliance activities and findings.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Assist in developing and maintaining policies and procedures for sanctions compliance.
- Support training initiatives to enhance awareness of OFAC requirements within the organization.

Profile
A successful OFAC Sanctions Consultant should have:
- Strong knowledge of OFAC regulations and the financial services industry.
- Experience in legal and compliance roles within financial services.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and system
