Description
As a Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager, you'll support and lead construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and documentation
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy
- Monitor job site progress and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Prepare and track RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes
- Support procurement and material tracking processes
- Foster strong client relationships and team collaboration

Ideal Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction
- Strong understanding of project management principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in ambiguity and adapt quickly
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, etc.)
- Commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement
