Principal UX Designer

• We're seeking a highly skilled Principal Information Architect Designer to join our clients Design Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of IA design principles, an eye for detail, and the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling designs.

Description

• Information Architecture Design: Develop and define information architectures, including site maps, wireframes, user flows, and navigation systems that align with client objectives and user needs.
• User Research and Analysis: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions. Analyze user data to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with UX/UI designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of information architecture into overall design solutions.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for information architecture, including design specifications, user personas, and journey maps, to communicate design concepts and rationale effectively.
• Prototyping and Testing: Build interactive prototypes to validate design concepts and gather feedback from users and stakeholders. Iterate on designs based on test results.
• Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design solutions, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with client goals and expectations.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes and solutions.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Graphic Design, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Proven experience (7+ years) as an Information Architect, UX Designer, or similar role, preferably within an agency environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of information architecture projects, including wireframes, site maps, and user flows.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Suite, and Miro.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and current web standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
