Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for healthcare construction projects, including hospitals, labs, and medical offices.
- Analyze blueprints, project specifications, and subcontractor bids to ensure accurate pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop competitive bids.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering solutions.
- Stay updated on market trends, labor rates, and material pricing in the healthcare construction sector.
Profile
- 5+ years of estimating experience in healthcare construction.
- Strong knowledge of hospital and medical facility builds, including MEP-heavy projects.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as OST, Bluebeam, and Procore.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
