MEP Superintendent
The MEP Superintendent will oversee all on-site activities for mechanical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical specifications and safety regulations. As an MEP Superintendent, you should have a strong background in managing MEP systems, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion.

Our client is a well-established contractor in Norwalk, CT, specializing in Mechanical projects and is dedicated to delivering exceptional MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) solutions across Central and Southern Connecticut. They are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Superintendent to lead the on-site execution of mechanical projects and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Description
- Manage and supervise daily on-site operations for mechanical projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and crews to ensure smooth workflows and timely completion.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to design standards.
- Resolve on-site challenges and adapt plans as needed to maintain project momentum.
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, including daily logs and reports.
- Foster a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment on-site.
Profile
- 5+ years of experience in MEP construction, with a focus on mechanical systems.
- Proven leadership experience as a Superintendent or similar role.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction methods, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
- Familiarity with building codes and compliance requirements in Connecticut.
