Benefits & Payroll Senior Associate - Hybrid NYC - Up to $110K

Exciting opportunity to join a global, prominent bank in their New York City office 4 days a week. The team is looking to add a Senior Benefits & Payroll Associate to support their US offices. The role will entail managing daily operations of benefits management and compensation.

Client Details

The client is a prominent global bank with offices across the United States. This position will be joining the HR Benefits team in their Manhattan office.

Description

  • Assist in the communication and administration of HR leave policies.
  • Assist with coordinating leaves of absence, including FMLA, PFL, and medical leave.
  • Lead the annual benefits plan design, open enrollment process, and related communications.
  • Manage relationships with benefit vendors, ensuring customer service standards are met.
  • Analyze changes to state and federal benefits laws and advise HR management on necessary adjustments.
  • Prepare RTO presentations for management and communicate updates bank-wide.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of CA, IL and NY employment laws and tax regulations preferred.

  • Strong experience with payroll systems and reporting functions.

  • Knowledge of expat agreements, taxable fringe benefits, and related calculations.

  • CEBS, CCP, or SPHR/PHR/SHRM-CP certifications preferred.
