Client Account Operations Lead
This role is a senior-level position within a law firm's billing team, focused on supporting attorneys and managers with complex client accounts. It involves providing leadership, problem-solving, and cross-team support to ensure accurate and efficient billing operations.

Description
Provide high-level billing support for complex client accounts, including domestic and international matters.
Step in to cover billing portfolios during absences, vacancies, or workload surges across multiple teams.
Analyze billing processes, identify gaps, and support process improvements and training.
Act as a subject-matter expert, mentoring junior staff and serving as a point of escalation.
Collaborate with attorneys, managers, and cross-functional teams to resolve billing issues and ensure accuracy.
Represent the billing function in client meetings and contribute to firmwide billing practices.
Profile
Experienced legal billing professional with at least 5 years in a senior-level role at a major law firm or professional services environment.
Strong expertise in high-volume, complex billing (domestic, international, and e-billing).
Advanced knowledge of billing systems such as Aderant, with proficiency in e-billing tools (e-Hub, Bill Blast).
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Strong communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively across teams and with attorneys.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor others and serve as a subject-matter expert.
