Project Manager - Public Sector Construction | NYC
We are hiring multiple Project Managers for full-time, field-based roles overseeing public-sector construction projects across NYC. These include a courthouse renovation, a new FDNY fire station, and a women's shelter.

This general contractor, founded in 1971, brings over five decades of expertise in public and institutional projects. Led by a second-generation leadership team, they emphasize integrity, stewardship, and team-driven project execution.
Description
Oversee all phases of construction from pre-construction through close-out
Manage subcontractors, schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and client relations
Handle documentation: change orders, invoices, meeting minutes, and reports
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and public sector standards
Coordinate with field staff and office teams via MS Suite and network drives
Profile
Hold a degree in Engineering/Technology or come from a union trade background
Have 7-10+ years of experience in public-sector construction (ground-up or heavy renovation)
Be highly organized, tech-savvy, and documentation-focused
Be proactive, team-oriented, and comfortable in a client-facing role
Job Offer
Salary ranges from $130K-$170K
