Assistant Superintendent
The client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to join our team. This role will assist in managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of ground-up warehouse and industrial construction projects in the Burlington, NJ area.

Description
- Assist the project superintendent in managing on-site construction activities for ground-up warehouse and industrial projects.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and schedule adherence, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Coordinate and schedule materials, equipment, and labor resources to ensure efficient project progression.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, safety, and compliance with plans and specifications.
- Assist in the management of safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Prepare daily reports and maintain project documentation, including logs of site activities and progress.
- Collaborate with project managers, field staff, and subcontractors to resolve issues and keep the project on track.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of project equipment and machinery.
Profile
- 3+ years of experience in construction, with a focus on industrial or warehouse construction.
- Prior experience in an assistant superintendent or similar role preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- OSHA certification (10-hour minimum, 30-hour preferred).
