Description
Core responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:
- Manage and oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously, from project planning to closeout, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Develop project budgets, schedules, and scopes of work, ensuring that all project deliverables are met
- Provide accurate and detailed cost estimates for new projects based on project specifications, construction plans, and other relevant information
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure that all work is completed safely and to the highest standards of quality
- Identify and manage project risks and develop contingency plans to ensure project success
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage project budgets, costs, and billing, ensuring that all expenses are tracked and accounted for accurately
Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of managing large, complex projects on a national level
- Strong understanding of construction project management principles, practices, and techniques
- Experience developing cost estimates and managing project budgets
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically
- Ability to travel to project sites throughout the country one to two days a month
