Senior Superintendent- Seattle

Client is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead on-site construction operations for a large-scale multifamily development project in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing complex, ground-up multifamily projects exceeding $50M in value and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Client Details

Our client is a National Owner Builder with multiple commercial projects in the greater Seattle area. Established a great reputation primarily focusing on multifamily and high-rise projects. Seeking leader for a large housing development over $300M.

Description

  • Lead all field construction activities, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with design documents and quality standards.

  • Manage and mentor on-site staff, including assistant superintendents, field engineers, and trade partners.

  • Develop, monitor, and update project schedules in coordination with the project management team.

  • Enforce safety standards and create a culture of accountability to ensure a safe jobsite in compliance with OSHA and company policies.

  • Oversee subcontractor performance, productivity, and quality of work.

  • Coordinate inspections, testing, and compliance with local building codes and Seattle permitting requirements.

  • Collaborate with project executives, project managers, and design teams to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum.

  • Ensure proper documentation of daily reports, RFIs, change orders, and progress photos.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners, consultants, and client representatives.

  • Drive the project through completion, including punch list, turnover, and warranty coordination.

Profile

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in construction supervision, with at least 5 years in a senior superintendent role.

  • Proven experience leading large-scale, ground-up multifamily or mixed-use projects ($50M+).

  • Strong knowledge of building systems, sequencing, means and methods, and Seattle market subcontractor base.

  • Expertise in safety management, quality control, and scheduling (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems in the field while keeping the project on track.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent field experience considered.
