We are seeking an experienced Labor Relations Lead for a 6-month contract. This role will be critical in managing union relationships, handling grievance resolutions, and ensuring alignment with labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.

We are seeking an experienced Labor Relations Lead for a 6-month contract. This role will be critical in managing union relationships, handling grievance resolutions, and ensuring alignment with labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.

Description
- Provide strategic labor relations support, including contract interpretation, grievance resolution, and collective bargaining negotiations.
- Serve as a key point of contact for union representatives and internal stakeholders on all labor-related matters.
- Investigate and resolve labor disputes, grievances, and disciplinary actions while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Partner with HR, legal, and operational teams to develop and implement effective labor relations strategies.
- Monitor and analyze labor trends, legislative changes, and collective bargaining agreements to provide proactive recommendations.
- Support leadership in preparing for union negotiations, including research, proposal development, and strategy execution.
- Conduct training sessions for management on labor laws, union relations, and best practices for handling employee concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of labor relations activities, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and legally compliant.
Profile
- 5+ years of experience in labor relations or a related field, with a strong understanding of union environments.
- Demonstrated experience in grievance handling, contract negotiations, and labor dispute resolution.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, NLRB regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with union representatives and internal stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Experience in a unionized environment
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Industrial Relations, Business, or a related field (Master's or JD a plus).
