Automation Engineer - Electrical - Rochester, NH
My client is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automation systems to optimize manufacturing processes. This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions in the manufacturing industry.

Description
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Design, develop, and implement automation systems to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
- Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, BOM's.
- Ensure compliance for electrical standards (UL, IEC, etc.)
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to automation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot automation systems and identify root cause analysis.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend process enhancements.
- Provide technical support and training to the operations team on automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations during all phases of automation projects.
- Document processes, procedures, and technical specifications for automation systems.
Profile
A successful Automation Engineer should have:
- A degree in engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with automation and electrical systems.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and/or SolidWorks Electrical.
- Experience developing schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in the industrial and manufacturing industry.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively document and share technical information.
Job Offer
