Sr FP&A Manager

The Sr FP&A Manager in the FMCG industry will lead financial planning and analysis efforts, providing valuable insights to drive business decisions. This role requires expertise in financial modeling, strategic planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Client Details

A global company in the luxury space is looking for a Senior FP&A Manager to support a portfolio of brands and oversee financial planning across wholesale, ecommerce, owned retail stores, and marketplace channels.

Description

• Advise business leaders by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that impact growth and efficiency.
• Lead the full planning cycle, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long‑range strategic planning.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to track performance metrics, productivity, and ROI.
• Work with global and regional finance teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial information, including support for procure‑to‑pay activities.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes.
• Consolidate cross‑functional inputs into financial models and scenario analyses that guide strategic decisions.
• Lead pre‑close reviews to surface risks and issues.
• Manage administrative finance tasks such as expense oversight and corporate card activity.
• Prepare monthly business reviews and performance reports with clear insights on KPIs and strategic initiatives.
• Oversee timely completion of month‑end close activities across key accounting areas, including fixed assets, prepayments, leases, payroll, reserves, COGS, logistics costs, and accruals.
• Maintain data integrity across financial systems and planning tools.

Profile

A successful Sr FP&A Manager should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance, preferably in the beauty, luxury, or consumer goods industry
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (SAP, SAP BW, NetSuite, or similar ERP/BI tools; advanced Excel/PowerPoint)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• A strategic mindset with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.
