Customer Service Manager - Manufacturing - Hybrid

$60,000 - $65,000/Year

The Customer Service Manager in the industrial/manufacturing industry will oversee and streamline customer service operations while ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction. It will wear many hats also taking part in order entry, accounting and supply chain responsibilities as well. This position in Troy requires a results-oriented individual with a focus on building strong customer relationships and team leadership.

Client Details

The employer is a large global company in the manufacturing / automotive space. They are a small US team providing an immense amount of room for growth.

Description

  • Work with the sales team closely to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work with customers on customer order details, on time deliveries and overall client satisfaction.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the sales department to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Help with order entry details, invoicing and payments.
  • Manage and lead the customer service team to ensure top-notch support.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Work with finance / accounting on customer orders, accounting and bookkeeping.

Profile

A successful Customer Service Manager should have:

  • Experience in customer service, preferably in the industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer issues.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
