Senior Director of Operations - Multi-Plant Food Manufacturing

Description

• Lead and manage multi-site food manufacturing operations to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, FDA, OSHA, and food safety standards.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational improvements.
• Oversee capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, including commissioning and equipment upgrades.
• Establish and maintain daily management and tier-1 manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with overall business objectives.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Plant Managers and operational teams.

Profile

A successful Senior Director of Operations should have:

• Proven expertise in operations leadership within a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as CI, TPM, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, including GMP, HACCP, FDA, and OSHA regulations.
• Experience managing multi-site or campus operations, including leadership of Plant Managers.
• Proficiency in analyzing and improving OEE, KPIs, and daily management processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead capital expenditure (CapEx) projects and manage commissioning processes.
