Project Administrator - Premier GC - Charlotte, NC
Join a dynamic and well-established General Contractor based out of NC with multiple regional offices, reporting out of their HQ in Charlotte. With a market specialization in healthcare and higher ed, they have positioned themselves as the go-to construction partner for the state's most coveted projects.

They are currently seeking a motivated Project Administrator to join the team!
Description
- Contract Administration: Draft, review, and track project contracts, subcontract agreements, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Change Order Management: Prepare, issue, and maintain change orders; coordinate approvals and keep accurate logs for all project stakeholders.
- Billing & Invoicing: Prepare monthly owner billings, subcontractor pay applications, and vendor invoices; reconcile accounts to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Sales Tax Compliance: Review invoices and billing documents for proper sales tax application; maintain records to ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
- Document Control: Maintain organized project files, including contracts, change orders, correspondence, and financial records.
- Project Support: Assist Project Managers with reporting, schedules, and other administrative tasks to keep projects running smoothly.
- Communication & Coordination: Act as a liaison between project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients regarding administrative and financial matters.
Profile
- 4+ years of project administration, project coordination, or project accounting experience within the AEC industry
- Thorough understanding of corporate and construction industry best practices, processes, standards, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, business aptitude, and professional character
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, change order processes, and billing procedures.
- Familiarity with sales tax compliance in construction.
- Proficiency in construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint, CMiC) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
