Director of Supply Chain | Food Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Supply Chain to join our growing team and lead all aspects of supply chain operations. This is a newly created position designed to fill a leadership gap above our current Manager of Supply Chain. You'll oversee a lean internal team and manage third-party logistics partners on both the East and West Coasts, playing a pivotal role in optimizing procurement, logistics, and inventory operations across a wide-ranging SKU portfolio.

• This role is ideal for a hands-on, solutions-oriented supply chain leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves when needed.
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations including purchasing, logistics, inventory planning, and vendor management.
• Manage and develop a small internal team, including a Supply Chain Manager and Purchasing Specialists.
• Oversee relationships with 3PL providers on the East and West Coasts to ensure timely, cost-effective distribution and warehousing.
• Optimize procurement processes for a wide range of raw materials across a complex SKU mix (100s to 1000s).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders including Finance, Operations, and Manufacturing.
• Drive process improvements, establish KPIs, and implement best practices in supply chain management.
• Report directly to the VP of Operations

Profile

• 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 2 years at the Director level.
• Experience leading small but high-impact supply chain teams.
• Strong background in food & beverage preferred; open to candidates from health & wellness or pharmaceutical industries.
• Proven experience working with 3PL providers and managing large SKU portfolios.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to influence across all levels of the organization.
• Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required.
