My client is seeking an experienced leader to oversee Quality Operations for their site in Asbury Park, NJ. My client has invested heavily into automating their site, and are seeking a professional with an engineering mindset that can continue to grow their department.

My client is a leading custom plastics molding company specializing in blow molding, injection molding, and assembly services. Serving industries including medical, industrial, food and beverage, and consumer goods, they are committed to quality, innovation, and operational excellence.

Description

They key responsibilities of the Quality Manager will be:

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality standards that align with industry best practices
• Leverage data-driven insights to identify areas for optimization and drive continuous improvement.​
• Cultivate a high-performing quality team through effective training, mentorship, and collaboration.​
• Build strong relationships with customers, proactively address quality concerns, and exceed their expectations.​
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain meticulous documentation.​
• Stay ahead of industry trends and explore emerging technologies to enhance our quality processes
• Drive the Internal Audit schedule as required by ISO 9001:2015
• Prepare and present quality reports, including performance metrics, trends, and improvement initiatives, to management and other stakeholders

Profile

The successful Quality Manager will have the following:

• Bachelor's Degree is Required
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in quality for a manufacturing environment.
• Six Sigma Certification or experience
• Strong Team Leader with Growth Mindset
• Knowledge of any of the following regulations (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or SQF)
