The Lateral Recruiting Manager will oversee the recruitment process for all lateral hires firmwide, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for candidates and internal stakeholders. This position is ideal for someone with expertise in the legal landscape and a passion for talent acquisition.

Description

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for lateral hires, including sourcing, interviewing, and offer process.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Maintain and build relationships with external recruitment agencies and industry contacts to expand talent pipelines.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations throughout the recruitment process.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to improve hiring strategies and processes.
  • Provide guidance to practice group leaders on best practices for interviewing and candidate selection.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to implement innovative recruitment techniques.

Profile

A successful Lateral Recruiting Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree (required).
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in recruitment within the legal industry (required).
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements related to hiring.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software (Workday preferred).
  • Ability to work hybrid in Washington, DC.
