Manufacturing Engineer - Aerospace - Bedford, MA
This role is responsible for improving and scaling manufacturing processes for advanced, high‑precision components used in next‑generation aerospace applications. The position works closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to drive yield, quality, and operational excellence in a highly regulated environment.

Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will lead efforts to develop, optimize, and sustain complex manufacturing processes in a high‑throughput, aerospace‑focused production environment. This role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement, mentoring production teams, and supporting new product introductions while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to improve yield, reduce defects, and shorten cycle times.
- Partner with production, quality, and R&D teams to troubleshoot issues and scale processes.
- Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
Profile
The successful candidate is a hands‑on manufacturing engineer with experience in regulated, high‑precision production environments and a strong problem‑solving mindset. They are comfortable working on the shop floor, analyzing data, and driving process improvements from concept through execution.
- Background in manufacturing, materials, composites, or similar environments.
- Experience using SPC, DOE, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
