Estimator - Design-Build Contractor - NH
We are partnering with a well‑established Design‑Build and Construction Management firm to hire a mid‑level Estimator who will support a growing project pipeline across multiple commercial sectors. This role reports directly to the PX and will lead estimates for projects ranging from $200K-$40M, with significant room for growth and long‑term career stability.

This firm is a 55+ year-old, privately held commercial contractor, specializing in design‑build, construction management, and general contracting. They deliver projects in healthcare, education, retail, manufacturing, office, nonprofit, senior living, and commercial sectors.
Description
- Prepare detailed estimates for projects ranging from $200K to $40M across commercial, healthcare, retail, multifamily, and manufacturing sectors.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, subcontractor scopes, and bid documents to ensure accurate cost projections.
- Manage quantity takeoffs, develop cost structures, and support bid strategies.
- Work closely with the PX, SPMs, and project teams to ensure alignment between estimating, budget, and project delivery.
- Oversee subcontractor outreach, pricing, bid leveling, and scope review.
- Assist with preconstruction planning, value engineering options, and schedule integration.
- Maintain estimating records, documentation, and historical cost data for future reference.
- Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and integration of company-wide best practices.
Profile
- 3-7+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator
- Ground‑up project experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to estimate projects across multiple sectors (commercial, retail, medical, multifamily, manufacturing, etc.).
- Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with both field and office teams.
- Professional communication and comfort presenting estimates to leadership.
