CNC Programmer- Medical Device - Rochester, NY
Join a fast-growing medical device manufacturer as a CNC Swiss/Mill Turn Machinist, where you will program, set up, and operate precision CNC machines to produce life-saving surgical components just south of Rochester, NY.

With over 500 employees and a rapidly growing campus spanning 10 buildings on 95 acres, they are dedicated to improving patient outcomes through cutting-edge research, development, and manufacturing in an ISO 13485-certified environment.
Description
The key responsibilities for the CNC Swiss Programmer are:
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss-style and Mill Turn machines
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
- Conduct in-process inspections using precision measurement tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform basic machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
Profile
The Successful CNC Swiss/ Mill Turn Machinist will have:
- Experience in CNC Swiss-style and Mill Turn machining
- Strong understanding of blueprints, GD&T, and precision measurement tools
- Ability to set up, program, and operate CNC machines independently
- Familiarity with tight tolerances and various metals
- Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and optimize tool paths
- Experience with complex multi-axis programming (PartMaker/Esprit preferred for Level III
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and accuracy
- Experience conducting in-process inspections and quality control checks
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 or other regulated standards perferred
