Senior FIG Credit Risk Consultant
FIG Counterparty Credit Risk Consultant with 10+ years of expertise in assessing, managing, and mitigating credit risks associated with banks, broker-dealers, clearinghouses, mortgage REITs, originators, funds, and asset managers. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to provide strategic risk assessments and ensure robust counterparty risk management frameworks.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess credit risk exposures across financial institutions, including banks, broker-dealers, and asset managers.
- Conduct counterparty risk analyses, including financial modeling, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
- Develop and enhance credit risk management frameworks, policies, and governance structures.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices impacting counterparty risk.
- Advise on risk mitigation strategies, collateral management, and counterparty credit limits.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including risk management, compliance, and trading desks, to ensure alignment on risk protocols.
- Provide insights on regulatory requirements from Basel III, Dodd-Frank, and SEC/CFTC regulations affecting counterparty risk.
- Lead engagements on credit risk due diligence for new counterparties and strategic transactions.
Profile
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in counterparty credit risk analysis within FIG sectors.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, credit ratings, stress testing, and market risk drivers.
- Expertise in risk regulations including Basel III, Dodd-Frank, and SEC/CFTC guidelines.
- Experience in reviewing counterparty exposures, financial statements, and risk mitigation tools.
- Ability to present complex risk insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Job Offer
$80-$150/hr. Benefits offered.
