Construction Project Manager - Manhattan, NY
Are you a skilled Project Manager with a strong background in commercial interiors and fast-paced fit-out work? Our client is a reputable and growing General Contractor specializing in high-end corporate interiors, tenant improvements, and commercial renovation projects throughout the New York metro area. They are seeking a driven Project Manager to join their team and take ownership of projects ranging from $1M-$20M+

Our client is a well-established and highly respected General Contractor with a strong reputation in the New York commercial interiors market. With more than two decades of experience, they specialize in high-end corporate interiors, tenant improvement projects, and fast-paced commercial fit-outs for a wide range of clients-including financial services, law firms, tech companies, retail brands, and real estate developers.
Description
Lead all phases of commercial interior projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and project documentation.
Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and weekly progress meetings.
Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with quality and safety standards.
Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
Profile
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or APM in commercial interiors construction.
Strong knowledge of corporate fit-outs, tenant improvement work, and fast-track interiors.
Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and construction management software.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
