Our client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with high-end residential renovations experience to support their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in project management, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of high-end residential projects, from conception to completion.

Our client is a premier General Contractor in Manhattan specializing in high-end residential renovations in New York City completing gut renovations on Apartments, Penthouses, and Townhomes. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for craftsmanship, they deliver unparalleled quality and sophistication to our clients' homes.

Description

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of high-end residential renovation projects in New York City.
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project specifications.
  • Assist in the procurement of permits and approvals from regulatory agencies, including the NYC Department of Buildings.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and RFIs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, designers, and other stakeholders to address concerns and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Assist in resolving project-related issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Support the Project Manager in overseeing project finances, including budget tracking, invoicing, and cost control.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and excellence.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in project management as an Assistant Project Manager, preferably in high-end residential renovations.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Procore or Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship and craftsmanship.
  • Knowledge of local building regulations and permit processes in New York City is a plus.
  • A passion for luxury residential design and renovations.
