Senior Lease Accountant
This role involves managing key accounting functions focused on lease accounting, payroll, and monthly close activities within an energy company. The Senior Accountant will collaborate across teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Description
Manage lease accounting activities, including schedules, reconciliations, and ASC 842 compliance
Oversee accrued liabilities and expense tracking with proper cutoff and analysis
Support payroll and bonus accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations
Lead monthly close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
Maintain accounting documentation and support SOX compliance and audit readiness
Collaborate on system improvements and automation initiatives
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred or in progress
3-6 years of accounting experience, preferably with technical accounting or controllership focus
Background in public accounting, ideally with Big 4 experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and lease accounting standards (ASC 842)
Experience with SOX compliance and audit processes
