Payroll and Benefits Specialist

An established, global financial services organization is seeking a senior Payroll & Benefits professional to own and lead end-to-end payroll operations and benefits administration. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role for an experienced professional who thrives in complex environments and has deep Workday expertise.

Description

• Own the full payroll lifecycle for a global employee population, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Serve as the Workday payroll subject matter expert, partnering with Finance and HR.
• Manage complex compensation structures, including bonuses and equity vesting.
• Oversee global payroll with a focus on the UK and Ireland, in addition to the U.S.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll, tax, and regulatory requirements while providing a high-touch employee experience.

Profile

A successful Payroll and Benefits Specialist should have:

• 10+ years of payroll experience, ideally within financial services.
• Expert-level Workday payroll experience (required).
• Proven experience managing bonuses, incentive compensation, and equity vesting.
• Demonstrated success running full-cycle, global payroll.
• Detail-oriented, highly accountable, and comfortable working in a lean, high-performing environment.

Job Offer

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $150000 to $175000 USD.
• 4 days onsite (flexibility to work 2 of those days from a satellite office in Long Island or Greenwich if preferred).
