Jr. Mechanical Estimator
As a Jr. Mechanical Estimator, you will play a vital role in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for piping and mechanical projects. As a Jr. Mechanical Estimator, you will collaborate with senior estimators, project managers, and other team members to analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to determine material, labor, and equipment costs.

Description
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to prepare estimates.
- Perform quantity take-offs for piping and mechanical systems.
- Research and source pricing for materials, equipment, and labor.
- Prepare cost breakdowns and bid proposals.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
- Assist in maintaining a database of material and labor costs.
- Identify project risks and provide input on potential value engineering solutions.
Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical estimating, specifically with piping systems.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of piping systems, HVAC, and mechanical construction.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is a plus.
