Estimator
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating costs for commercial interior projects, with experience in budgeting, preparing detailed cost estimates.

Our client is an entrepreneurial growing commercial General Contractor
Description
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial interior construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other associated costs.
Review project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documentation to identify key project requirements and estimate project scope.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and suppliers to gather necessary data and refine cost estimates.
Assess potential risks and propose strategies for cost control and budget optimization.
Analyze and compare bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective choices.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and labor rates to produce competitive and accurate estimates.
Provide timely, professional responses to client inquiries and ensure clear communication of project costs.
Assist in the preparation of proposals, contracts, and change orders.
Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for more accurate estimates.
Ensure that estimates align with project timelines, scope, and quality standards.
Monitor ongoing project costs and report on variances to the senior management team.
Support project teams by providing cost analysis throughout the construction process.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as an estimator in the commercial interior construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes, materials, and techniques.
Strong understanding of estimating software and tools (e.g., Planswift, BlueBeam or similar).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
