Quality Supervisor - Glass Manufacturing - Vineland, NJ
This Quality Supervisor oversees the implementation and maintenance of quality control processes to ensure products meet established standards and specifications. This includes managing quality control technicians, conducting inspections, analyzing data, and implementing corrective actions to prevent defects and improve overall product quality.

Their offerings include glass and plastic bottles, vials, tubes, and related containers and closure systems. They serve various sectors, including pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and life science research, providing solutions from product development to commercialization.
Description
In this role, the Quality Supervisor will:
- Supervise and train QC Inspectors on procedures and professional development.
- Oversee inspections to ensure compliance with internal and customer specifications.
- Investigate quality issues and implement CAPAs.
- Maintain and review quality documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with teams and suppliers on quality improvements and issue prevention.
- Manage non-conforming products and support audits.
- Verify incoming materials and CoAs, assist with calibration, and follow safety guidelines.
Profile
A successful Quality Supervisor will have:
- 3-5 years QC/QA experience in manufacturing (or equivalent), with prior supervisory/leadership experience required.
- Experience with ISO 9001, GMP, and other relevant quality standards.
- General understanding of validation processes.
- Strong oral and written communication, reading, and math skills.
- Proficient in computer applications (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Office).
- Strong professionalism, organizational, and time management skills; ability to multitask.
- Team-oriented with a positive and collaborative attitude; bilingual proficiency is a plus.
