Looking for a Project Manager to join one of Northern Maine's leading General Contractors, as they expand their operations into Portland!
Client Details
The company is a well-established, family-owned general contractor with a strong reputation in the Maine construction industry. Since its founding in the 70s, it has evolved from a residential home builder to a full-service, design-build commercial contractor serving the entire state of Maine. With decades of experience, the company specializes in a diverse range of commercial projects, including ice arenas, municipal buildings, and historical preservation work. Known for delivering quality results, they typically handle projects with budgets ranging from $1M-$20M
Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Lead and manage the full life cycle of construction projects, from pre-construction through to completion.
- Oversee a Project Manager, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage all aspects of project execution, including design, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and coordination with subcontractors.
- Ensure that all projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with clients and the internal team to ensure design and construction objectives are met.
- Use Procore, Bluebeam, and Sage Timberline for project management and reporting
Profile
The Project Manager will have:
- 5-10+ years of experience in project management, with a strong background in design-build projects.
- A diverse project portfolio, with experience in commercial, municipal, residential, and historical preservation work.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
- Proficient in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Sage Timberline).
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
