Quality Engineer - Aerospace Manufacturing - Hancock, NH
As a Quality Engineer, this role focuses on quality planning for customer requirements, including conducting internal and external quality audits. You will leverage your expertise in quality improvement techniques to enhance the team's quality control efforts.

Description
The Quality Engineer, Aerospace Manufacturing, will:
- Support aerospace customer quality requirements by reviewing engineering technical requirements and ensuring compliance with customer specifications.
- Develop and implement internal documentation for quality planning related to customer requirements.
- Resolve product and process quality issues through root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with the team to assist in the development of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (PFMEAs), Control Plans, and Production Part Approval Processes (PPAPs).
- Lead the creation of action plans aimed at improving performance and achieving quality goals.
- Identify opportunities for proactive improvements in customer satisfaction.
- Train and support the team on new quality initiatives.
- Conduct both internal and external quality audits.
- Onsite at our Hancock, New Hampshire facility
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or materials engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification.
- Required: Knowledge of ISO 9001; preferred knowledge of AS9100 and AS13100.
- Preferred: Experience in quality engineering and/or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with quality improvement tools and techniques, quality auditing, root cause analysis, and error proofing.
- Preferred: Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills and good overall computer literacy.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of the company and external clients, both written and verbally.
- Must be willing to travel occasionally to meet with customers and suppliers.
