Client Details

A well-known renovations and capex general contractor in the multifamily and commercial space. Began as a family business in 80s and over the years have expanded into site development and commercial projects. Today, they are a commercially licensed general contractor serving North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia. Largest sector is multifamily renovations and CapEx improvements.

Description

• Prepare Accurate Estimates: Develop detailed cost estimates for multifamily renovation projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Bid Management: Review project plans, solicit bids from subcontractors/suppliers, and prepare competitive proposals.
• Scope Review & Value Engineering: Analyze project scopes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and propose value-driven alternatives.
• Vendor Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Risk Assessment & Scheduling: Identify potential risks, provide input on project timelines, and recommend strategies to mitigate cost overruns.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough records and deliver clear estimate reports for internal and client use.
• Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to maintain competitive pricing.

Profile

• 3+ years of construction experience
• Must have expertise within the renovations sector - preferably multifamily
• Excellent client management and presentation skills
• Exceptional communication skills - Someone who 'listens first'
• Positive attitude - someone who would describe themselves as upbeat and can bring energy into the room that is contagious!
• Technically proficient and able to learn new programs
