The Yield Enhancement Engineer, electronic manufacturing, will drive improvements in product quality and manufacturing efficiency by developing quality control protocols, analyzing process data, and leading root cause investigations. Description

The Yield Enhancement Engineer, electronic manufacturing, will:

• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and operations to develop protocols that ensure high-quality production outcomes
• Design and implement effective quality control workflows, training production teams and monitoring results
• Collect and analyze data on product errors to troubleshoot manufacturing and design processes
• Apply strong electronics manufacturing engineering principles to identify and address quality risks
• Lead detailed problem-solving efforts using Six Sigma tools, including root cause analysis, containment, and corrective/preventive actions
• Analyze and optimize current production processes to improve product reliability and manufacturability
• Drive factory process improvements through data-driven metrics and continuous improvement initiative
• Onsite daily in Lawrence, MA

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
• 5+ years of related experience in electronics manufacturing - ideally in a Lean / Yield Enhancement role at an electronic manufacturer
• Strong understanding of high-volume electronics manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of quality assurance methods, tools, and manufacturing quality processes
• Strong technical, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Proven problem-solving ability in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interpret technical data and apply analysis
• Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to shifting demands
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally
• Local to Lawrence, MA
