A reputable General Contractor local to Newton, MA is seeking a Project Manager to join their team due to their upcoming backlog of work. They are a boutique firm partnered with high level/confidential repeat client throughout the markets they serve

With a team of about 40 and over $120M in annual revenue, they take on a wide range of projects ground-up and renovations across life science, academic, commercial, industrial, government, and multifamily sectors. Description

The Project Manager - Diverse Project Portfolio up to $100M will be responsible for:

  • Project Oversight: Manage and supervise all phases of luxury custom home construction, from design through to completion. Ensure that each project is executed according to the client's vision and specifications.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact between the client, architects, designers, and subcontractors. Maintain clear communication with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project.
  • Budget & Financial Management: Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets. Ensure that all projects remain within financial scope, identify potential cost-saving opportunities, and handle any financial discrepancies as they arise.
  • Scheduling & Timeline Management: Create and maintain detailed project schedules. Coordinate all aspects of the project to ensure that milestones are met, and that the project stays on schedule, ensuring timely delivery of the completed home.
  • Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Oversee the procurement of materials and the coordination of subcontractors, ensuring they meet project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Quality Control & Inspections: Maintain rigorous quality control standards by performing regular site inspections. Ensure that all work adheres to design specifications and local building codes and that the final product meets the highest quality standards.
  • Permitting & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained in compliance with local regulations. Manage the inspection process to guarantee all work meets the legal requirements for Delray Beach.
  • Risk Management: Identify and address any potential risks or challenges on the project, including issues related to budget, scheduling, or quality. Develop and implement solutions to mitigate risks and keep the project on track.
  • Safety Management: Promote a culture of safety on the job site, ensuring adherence to all OSHA and industry safety standards. Conduct safety meetings and oversee safety protocols to protect workers and ensure a safe working environment.

Profile

The Project Manager - Diverse Project Portfolio up to $100M should have:

  • 8+ years of project management experience
  • Experience working on ground up projects over $30M from beginning through completion
  • Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Apps
  • Bachelors in Construction Management, Engineering or other related field

Job Offer
