Director of Accounting and Finance

We are looking for an experienced Director of Accounting and Finance to oversee all financial and accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for budget management, financial analysis, payroll, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.

Description

• As the Director of Accounting and Finance you will guide financial decisions by applying company policies and managing accounting procedures.
• You will report to the founder and oversee and manage the preparation of all financial reporting.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of the Accounting & Finance operations.
• Work with the executive team to set budgets and financial goals.
• Manage company funds, including banking, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Oversee the preparation and management of all payroll functions.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
• Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.

Profile

A successful Director of Accounting and Finance should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• A CPA or MBA is preferred.
• A strong understanding of accounting and financial management principles.
• Experience in the CPG industry is a must for this position.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• This is an in office role based in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, CA.
