Network Engineer

This full-time, on-site role requires working 5 days a week in the office. The Network Engineer will manage network infrastructure, security, & AWS cloud while supporting both on-premise & remote users.

The Network Engineer will oversee network infrastructure, implement security measures, and manage AWS cloud services for a growth-driven investment firm based in New York, NY. This role is fully on site.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement network security plans, including monitoring, auditing, and intrusion prevention.
• Manage and maintain the firm's network and communication infrastructure, both on-premise and cloud-based.
• Oversee AWS cloud infrastructure, including firewall management and automated IaC deployment.
• Provide user support for both on-site and remote employees.
• Contribute to the firm's cybersecurity strategy, including business continuity and disaster recovery efforts.

Profile

The successful candidate:

• Has strong expertise in network administration and cybersecurity, with experience in firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
• Proficient in advanced networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VLANs, with a deep understanding of the TCP/IP stack.
• Skilled in managing AWS cloud infrastructure, including firewall configurations and resource management.
• An excellent team player with strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Able to provide hands-on, on-premise network support and manage enterprise networking systems such as Fortinet, Juniper, and Meraki.

Job Offer
