Description

Our client is looking for a Senior Estimator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely cost estimates for various commercial projects. This includes reviewing bid documents, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring that proposals are competitive and aligned with client expectations. The position requires hands-on experience with hard bid estimating, as well as familiarity with GMP (Guaranteed Maximum Price) bids.

The Senior Estimator - Commercial Projects - Delmarva Peninsula will be responsible for the following:

• Leading the preparation of accurate estimates for commercial projects valued between $5M and $25M
• Collaborating closely with project managers and engineers to ensure precise takeoffs and bid submissions
• Managing the entire estimating process from initial analysis to final proposal
• Working with team members and delegating tasks to junior estimators as necessary
• Providing clear direction and communication to clients, ensuring transparency throughout the bid process

Profile

The Senior Estimator - Commercial Projects - Delmarva Peninsula will have:

• Over 5 years of estimating experience with a general contractor
• Strong expertise in hard bid estimating (GMP experience preferred)
• Experience with commercial projects valued between $5M and $25M
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and provide direction
• Proficiency in estimating software (any platform)
