SR Application Engineer
The Application Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting and optimizing manufacturing processes within the business services industry. This position focuses on delivering technical expertise and solutions to meet clients' engineering and manufacturing needs.

Description
- Support sales efforts through technical insight, customer engagement, and solution development.
- Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and help define appropriate manufacturing or production approaches.
- Provide technical support throughout the implementation process, including presentations and demonstrations as needed.
- Develop and communicate value propositions that differentiate products and solutions in the market.
- Assist with project coordination to ensure objectives related to scope, timing, cost, and quality are met.
- Serve as a technical resource for internal teams, partners, and customers during project execution.
- Support training and knowledge‑sharing activities for customers and distribution partners.
- Act as a liaison between customers, sales, and internal technical teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Monitor outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to support long‑term success.
Profile
- Strong technical knowledge of machining processes and equipment.
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience (machining enviorments), ideally supporting aerospace, automotive, or medical industries.
- Strong knowledge of CNC controls (Siemens, Fanuc ect).
- Proficiency with CAM software (Mastercam/NX ect) and (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ect).
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools, and lean manufacturing concepts.
- Understanding of ISO standards
- Ability to work on-site in Schaumburg, IL, with 30% travel
Job Offer
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $135,000 USD.
- a bonus paid out around 8-13% based off company and personal metrics
