Tax Compliance Manager - Technology - Newton, MA
The Tax Compliance Manager will manage the compliance process for federal, state, and local income/ franchise tax returns. The role will include managing and assisting various projects including acquisitions, disposals, and other corporate transactions.

Description
The key responsibilities of the role include the following:
- Oversee compliance for federal, state, and local income/ franchise tax returns.
- Serve as the primary liaison with outsourced compliance provider (KPMG).
- Collaborate with the entire US tax team to develop tax strategies and process improvements.
- Manage three direct reports (Assistant Manager, SALT, and 2 Senior Tax Accountants).
Profile
The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in tax.
- Prior experience in a management role.
- Proven experience in compliance and state income tax.
- Federal tax experience is a plus but not required.
- CPA preferred.
