The Project Engineer's job is to assist and support the project Manager in executing the construction procedures and ensuring they are completed in a timely and efficient manner by performing duties like help the Project Manager with over sight of the project, being able to do blueprints, structural drawings and plan set, and able to problem solve on projects

Responsibilities:
• Help assist and support the project manager and other project engineer in the oversight of the project from pre-construction to close out
• Able to read blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets
• Can identify and solve potential issues throughout the projects to help prevent potential negative impacts that can help ensure safety of work
• Able to help Project manager estimate both construction management and self- perform work items, update project schedule, and review subcontractor bid proposals
• process subcontractor change orders
• Review submittals and RFI's
Successful Candidate:
• Bachelor's degree in a construction management or related degree
• Has had Project Engineer Internships with reputable general contractors
• Has 1-3 years' experience working in the Project engineer role
• Has worked on new construction, ground up, or tenant improvement projects
• Has high interpersonal skills and is self-aware
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, and is able to speak effectively to customers and clients
